Patrick Kingsley Nana Opoku, born 4th March, 1968, is a Ghanaian-based road contractor and businessman. He is the founder and CEO of Kingspok Company Limited, one of the largest indigenous-owned construction companies in West Africa, and the owner of several other businesses in Ghana. He was born in Koforidua in the Eastern Region to Mr. James Akwaboah and Ms. Elizabeth Adofo. He had his secondary school education at St. Peter’s Secondary School and St. Mary’s Secondary School (Takoradi). He moved to Holland, where he studied construction in the early 80s. After working for several companies in Holland and the U.S.A, he returned to Ghana in the 90s. With world-class experience gained in construction, he started Kingspok Company Limited in 1997, contributing to the developmental agenda of Ghana.
With his entrepreneurial drive, he established Kingstel Hotel (a 3-star hotel in Takoradi), Kingspok Cattle, Poultry and Vegetable Farms, and Compass Security Company Limited. Addressing Ghana’s housing deficit, he’s developing K&J Millennium Estate, an eco-friendly real estate project in the Western Region. He believes nation-building is a collective effort.
